I tried to shoot shadow of a flower, after saw Kyungmee’s picture of people’s shadow. I think it’s interesting to capture a shadow. Thanks to her for the inspiration, maybe someday I’ll try to shoot shadow of people too.

I think I’m lucky to get this dragonfly, perched on a leaf. It remained silent when I shot from a distance of about one meter.

[SkyWatch Friday] Mount Agung is located in Karangasem regency, Bali. It’s the highest mountain in Bali island, it stands 3,142 meters from sea level. This view of Mount Agung is captured from the distance. It’s taken from my house in Denpasar, about 60 Kms southwest the great Agung. (Note: “Great” is equal to “Agung” in Indonesia)

In latin, this kind of walking iris is called Trimezia martinicensis. It has yellow flowers with brown/mahogany splotches on the petals.
